Kathy Griffin recently appeared on CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper. During the coverage Griffin made her feelings about Carrie Prejean well known! Griffin called Carrie Prejean a “moron” for opposing gay marriage, here are the transcripts:
ERICA HILL: But what I really need to know, speaking of guys, whose team are you on, looking back at 2009? Are you Team Larry King or Team Carrie Prejean?
GRIFFIN: Right. I’m a gay dude. I’m not Team Prejean, please. She’s a moron. I’m Team Larry King all the time, even though he thinks I’m Kathie Lee Gifford. Larry, don’t argue. You know that you’re never quite sure.

CBS News reports that Meghan McCain, the daughter of Republican politican and presidential candidate John McCain, has called out Carrie Prejean on her apparent hypocrisy, talking about christian values while making sex tapes.
Prejean made headlines after proudly telling the crowd at the Miss California pageant that she strongly opposed gay marriage. From there, she went on to set herself up as a christian defender of social conservatism. Meghan McCain is in the same camp, also a conservative, also opposing gay marriage, but McCain doesn’t think Carrie Prejean is the best person to talk about morals.
McCain wrote an editorial for the news website The Daily Beast and said that “Making a sex tape is never acceptable,” McCain went on: “I find it even more disturbing that as long as you oppose gay marriage, filming yourself having sex is taken more lightly.”

Carrie Prejean has canceled a late night hosting gig at a night club for fears it will conflict with her christian values! Prejean refused to appear at a club in Connecticut club, suggesting the midnight slot was ‘in direct conflict with her reputation as a Christian.’
Prejean, was dumped from her role as Miss California 2009 after some anti-gay marriage comments and later was found to have filmed an estimated 10 sex tapes! Prejean would have been paid $15′000 for the night club appearance
Apparently Prejean’s mother is highly influential in her life. In an email between the nightclub and Prejean, her mother Francine responds: “We are not completely certain that we want her in a nightclub setting at the hours specified in the contract.”
“As you can understand, this is in direct conflict with who she is. Her reputation as a Christian is more important than any public appearance attention or monetary compensation.” I guess that means those sex tapes will remain hidden in a cupboard somewhere… for now….
