CBS News reports that Meghan McCain, the daughter of Republican politican and presidential candidate John McCain, has called out Carrie Prejean on her apparent hypocrisy, talking about christian values while making sex tapes.
Prejean made headlines after proudly telling the crowd at the Miss California pageant that she strongly opposed gay marriage. From there, she went on to set herself up as a christian defender of social conservatism. Meghan McCain is in the same camp, also a conservative, also opposing gay marriage, but McCain doesn’t think Carrie Prejean is the best person to talk about morals.
McCain wrote an editorial for the news website The Daily Beast and said that “Making a sex tape is never acceptable,” McCain went on: “I find it even more disturbing that as long as you oppose gay marriage, filming yourself having sex is taken more lightly.”
